Savannah, Georgia was the setting for this breathtaking wedding. Where do we start? The ceremony was held at Trinity United Methodist in downtown Savannah. The dress was specifically designed for Stephanie and it showed. She looked amazing! Stephanie and Chris had their first look just outside the church and took all of their photos and film prior to the wedding. We love doing this! The ceremony was beautiful and truly a blending of families.
The Westin Savannah was the reception site, and we’ve never seen it so beautiful. The bridal party traveled to the reception on a trolley and arrived at the first cocktail hour. Yes…the first! Soon the doors were opened to the gorgeous reception hall and Luke Bryan started playing. Luke was not only a surprise for the groom but for the guests, as well. We’ve never seen a band like this at a wedding. After his hour long set, the guests were taken outside to enjoy another cocktail hour, toasts and an amazing fireworks display.
After the fireworks, guests came back in the reception hall for dinner and the music of Bobby and the Aristocats. Bobby is full of energy and makes everyone want to dance. Two cakes were cut, including a John Deere groom’s cake. This wedding really had everything from the big band to the smallest details. You can imagine that it was quite a feat to pull off. That is why they brought in the amazing team with First City Events. They facilitated everything seamlessly and made our job easier.
