Where video looks best
Courtyard
This is the highlight of Cannon Green in our opinion. Palms, string lights, and a private feel in the middle of the city. Sunset is the sweet spot. When it is permitted and the weather cooperates, we grab a quick drone shot over the courtyard full of guests. We also like to sneak you out for a couple of minutes when it is empty and get a few easy walking shots.
Trolley Room
High ceilings and room to breathe. Entrances feel big, and the first dance looks clean without us setting a bunch of gear. Toasts sound crisp when we plug into the band or DJ’s sound system. Coming in from the courtyard, the room shifts to a warm, polished vibe. We keep lighting small so skin tones look natural.
Garden Room
As you walk in, the staircase is right there and it looks really good on camera. We like to get a few couple shots on the steps on our way in. Bright and simple, very Charleston. It is also a good spot for a first look or letters.
Front doors and facade on Spring Street
The sage green doors add a nice pop to the frame. This is a great spot for some shots of the couple, bridal party, and family. When the traffic breaks we usually run across the street to get a big wide shot of the entire front of the venue.
Ceremony options (with sound & vibe)
Courtyard
The long rectangle makes clean rows that look great on video, and an overhead shot with the drone is a nice bonus. It does get cramped once everyone is seated, so we keep gear small and out of sight lines. The sun is something to be aware of at certain hours. We mic the officiant and the groom and record two backups so vows and music come through clearly.
Cocktail Hour
If the ceremony is in the courtyard, guests usually move into the Trolley Room for a few minutes while staff resets the courtyard for cocktails. When everyone is back outside, if the weather allows us, we grab a quick drone shot to show the whole crowd. After that, we fade into the background and focus on people catching up and the small moments you will want to remember. You will barely notice us.
Dinner & Dancing
Trolley Room
Big room with soft light after sunset. Great for the party, and the food here is legit. We keep moving to find fresh angles and grab the moments that matter. This part of the night runs on feel. We follow the energy and stay out of the way so you can enjoy it.
Toasts (our recommendation)
To keep audio clean and guests comfortable, do toasts where a PA is available. A great example would be during dinner in the Trolley Room.
- Clean audio: we plug recorders into the DJ/band system for clear speeches.
- Better experience: seated guests, a visible mic spot, and fewer distractions.

How do you handle audio for vows and toasts?
Small, hidden mics for the ceremony (one on minister, one on groom). For toasts we connect to the band/DJ’s sound system and also record a backup.
Will we notice you during the ceremony?
Not much. We do our best to work the edges, keep movements slow, and stay off center so guests see you, not us.
Do you use lights during the reception?
Yes, a small soft setup so faces look natural. Enough to help, not enough to change the vibe.
Can you fly the drone here?
Yes, as long as the weather cooperates (no rain and calm winds).
How do you work with photographers?
We approach it like teammates. We let the photographer take the lead and jump in when we can. The goal is to keep the whole process seamless for everyone. We pride ourselves on doing that consistently.
Do you include full ceremony and full toasts?
Yes. Both are included with your highlight film.
