Where video looks best

River dock at sunset

A Lowndes Grove classic with big sunsets. A short walk, a few shots, then back to the party!

Riverside lawn & oak tree

Even shade and the river in the background. Good for first look, quick portraits, or a quiet walk.

Rooms, veranda, and glass porch

Each room has its own look—classic Charleston art, molding, and color.

Upstairs rooms have lots of window light and open onto the veranda, which is shaded and private. It is great for a first look or a few quick portraits.

The glass porch is bright and even; it feels outdoors but with A/C, so it’s a solid backup for letters, first looks, or family photos on hot or windy days

Spiral staircase

Iconic overhead shot as you walk down. The staircase is narrow and steep, so we do one careful pass. Slow steps, hand on the rail for safety and a smoother, more cinematic look.

Ceremony options (with sound & vibe)

Lawn in front of the house

This is the only ceremony site we have seen at Lowndes Grove. Beautiful view for guests with the river as a backdrop.

Ceremony set up on the lawn

The shot of the bride coming out of the house as she walks down the aisle is one of our favorites.

On sunny days the light can be strong, and the river breeze can get intense. Low planes are common. We minimize background noise and record with multiple audio sources for the best quality

Cocktail Hour

Gravel courtyard by the river

Great for aerial coverage, and it gives your guests the full Lowndes Grove experience.

Toasts (our recommendation)

Do toasts where a PA is available—usually the tent or dance floor.

  • Clean audio: we record the board feed plus backups.
  • More attentive: guests are seated and the speaker stands in a spot everyone can see.

See it in action!

FAQ’s

How do you handle audio for vows and toasts?

Small, hidden mics for the ceremony (one on minister, one on groom). For toasts we connect to the band/DJ’s sound system and also record a backup.

Will we notice you during the ceremony?

Not much. We do our best to work the edges, keep movements slow, and stay off center so guests see you, not us.

Do you use lights during the reception?

Yes, a small soft setup so faces look natural. Enough to help, not enough to change the vibe.

Can you fly the drone here?

Yes, as long as the weather cooperates (no rain and calm winds).

How do you work with photographers?

We approach it like teammates. We let the photographer take the lead and jump in when we can. The goal is to keep the whole process seamless for everyone. We pride ourselves on doing that consistently.

Do you include full ceremony and full toasts?

Yes. Both are included with your highlight film.

How do we check your availability?

Use the button on this page (underneath the video) or click here. If your date is open, we will follow up with package information quickly.
